What is it?
You stay present with your own breath, guided verbally in the room. Sessions may include diaphragmatic breathing, coherent rhythms, and gentle active patterns suited to your level. It supports stress regulation, recovery, and the breath quality that underpins a strong Ashtanga practice.
Who is it for?
Key Benefits
Nervous system calm
Simple rhythms help downshift from stress without needing a long asana class.
Focus and presence
Training attention on the breath builds the same concentration used in Mysore practice.
Breath for asana
Clearer, steadier breathing carries into Ashtanga and everyday movement.
What to Expect
● In the room
You sit or lie on a mat. The teacher guides verbally — no headphones, no layered 9D soundtrack. Comfortable clothes are enough; props are available.
● The practice
Expect awareness drills, nose vs mouth cues where useful, and paced breathing that stays within a safe intensity. You can always slow down or stop. This is skill practice, not a performance.
● How it differs from 9D
9D Breathwork is a separate immersive session with headphones and a multi-layer audio journey. This Breathwork page is for conscious breathing practice without that format. See 9D Breathwork if you want that experience.
