How this folio is made

Mentions arrive the way a journal collects press cuttings: found, read, kept — or set aside. Google and Instagram are only places to look; they do not write the page.

Sync (staging) Instagram Graph API tagged media — or local mock sync — lands as status: pending . Nothing publishes itself.
Approve A person reviews the queue in Mentions admin and approves or rejects each cutting.
Publish Approved items become published: true in the API store (seeded from data/mentions.json ).
Compose This folio reads /api/mentions , with a static JSON fallback.
Link out Readers leave for the original post. We do not scrape Instagram or Google.

Prototype for look and information flow. Sample entries are marked in italic. Thumbnails are studio assets held locally — not Instagram’s CDN.
